1. Who We Are

KonnectPe Payments Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is a payment technology company registered in India, committed to protecting personal data in accordance with DPDPA 2023 and RBI guidelines. All payment processing is carried out through RBI-licensed Payment Aggregator partners.

2. Data We Collect

• Identity data: Name, PAN, Aadhaar (merchants), director information
• Business data: GST number, company registration, business type and category
• Financial data: Bank account details, transaction history, settlement records
• Technical data: IP addresses, device identifiers, API usage logs
• Payment data: Transaction amounts, payment methods (we never store full card numbers)

3. How We Use Your Data

• Processing and settling payment transactions on your behalf
• Fraud detection, prevention, and risk management
• Compliance with RBI, PMLA, and other regulatory requirements
• Communicating service updates and settlement notifications
• Improving products through anonymised analytics

4. Data Localisation

Complying with RBI Payment System Data Storage Guidelines, all payment data related to Indian transactions is stored exclusively on servers located within India. We do not transfer sensitive payment data outside India.

5. Data Security

Payments are processed through PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant partners. We also apply 256-bit TLS encryption for data in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, strict access controls with MFA, and regular penetration testing and security audits on our own systems.

6. Your Rights

Under DPDPA 2023, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. Contact our Data Protection Officer at dpo@konnectpe.com. We respond within 72 hours.

7. Retention

Transaction records retained 7 years as required by PMLA and RBI guidelines. Merchant account data retained 5 years post-termination. Non-mandatory data deleted on request.
